A Community of Explorers

Have you been looking for just the right kind of community to supplement your homeschool lifestyle?  GFT may be for you!  Here at GFT, we are a community of explorers.  We believe that children learn best by doing and trust their learning process.  We know that being outdoors connects children to their roots. We know homeschool families thrive within a supportive community and offer support to both students and parents.  

GFT is a secular and inclusive, three-day-a-week (with part-time options) program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.  We are primarily nature based, with students spending most of their time outdoors: building, climbing, creating, hiking, with poetry, literature, read-alouds, show-and-tell, journaling, experiments, math games, social/emotional work, snake and turtle care, art, and so much more woven throughout our days.  Our middle school cohort will be using Build Your Library, Level 7, as a springboard for their units studies and exploration.

We feel so humbled and honored to be entering our 5th year serving the local homeschool community.  We have been mostly a referral-based program and are excited to expand our offerings to welcome a few new families into our community.
