We had SUCH a blast at today’s GFT Summer Nature Series kick-off event! Families from the greater Baltimore area came together for a gorgeous morning learning about nature’s treasures and creating beautiful and original “treasure” maps! Even our littlest explorers jumped in on the action and joined us in “swallowing the wind” and “petting” the soft, fuzzy, hidden moss. Crowd favorites were the fallen tree that strongly resembled a teepee as well as the gorgeous fern beds adorning the forest floor. Kids and parents alike got their workouts in today! All that exploring made for a lot of hungry tummies as we emerged from the forest full of excitement and joy to color in our maps and enjoy lunch as a community.
We’d love for you to join us for session 2 on Thursday, June 28 for “What Time Is It, Mr. Fox?” where we’ll be diving back into the forest and using our super-sensitive observational skills to create some cool artwork! The link to check out all of our FREE summer events can be found here:
