Did you know that Global Foundations Tutorial is also an umbrella for homeschooling families? We have a growing list of families who are looking for an inclusive, open and welcoming community with whom to share their homeschooling journies, and we cannot wait to get them all together in a few short months! Our umbrella uses peer review to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly (well, hopefully not too ugly!) sides of what went down during our homeschooling year.
We’re pleased to announce that this year’s portfolio review will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 7:00 pm in the hall at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church. Umbrella members received our checklist that we use to guide the discussion that evening, and we are asking that it is returned to us no later than three days prior to the review. We are planning for the review to be an open and honest discussion about homeschooling and are looking forward to hearing about and seeing the many different paths we all take in the quest for our children to become lifelong learners.
