As we have mentioned previously, our goal at GFT is to bring as much value to our homeschooling families as humanly possible while creating an amazing learning environment for our children. As a drop-off tutorial, this does come at a cost to families. So, that got us thinking about how we can continue to enhance and grow our offerings at GFT to offer as much value as possible.
As we scrutinized our schedule and looked ahead to next year, we made a large realization… by making a few small shifts in the day and teaming up with curricula that mirrors our values and beliefs, we can create a powerhouse opportunity to assume the main teaching role for science and social studies for families!
We will continue our work with Curiosity Chronicles for our lower-elementary students in global studies/social studies and expand our later-grade offerings to History Odyssey Middle Ages 2, as well as work with REAL (Read. Explore. Absorb. Learn.) Science Odyssey for biology for the year for all students. With expanding our calendar, we will have a full 32 weeks from which to teach and learn with the children, and we could not be more excited!
