You spoke; we listened! Here at GFT, the leadership team has been busy planning our upcoming school year with one question being at the forefront of our discussions: how can we better serve our local, homeschooling community? We’ve had a lot of families of our upper-elementary and middle school-aged children say they would love to have more students enrolled at GFT in this age range.
What better way to attract them with an all-new course designed just for them?! We are THRILLED to share our “Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy” course for students ages 10-13 this September through December. Here is the course description in a little more detail:
Throughout the course, students will do everything from taking and analyzing personality tests to determine their strengths and weaknesses on an individual and team basis to researching and creating a budget to pitching to an in-person panel of experts to help make their concepts into realities! Did I mention how EXCITED we are to watch their ideas come to life?!
This is just one of the ways we are taking what we are hearing from you and creating an educational setting we could have only dreamed of when we were kids! We will share some other new developments in the upcoming weeks, as well as our spring Open House dates.
