Earlier this year (amid the furious flakes of winter), we studied Jackson Pollack and his unconventional and oh-so-fun, full-body painting style. Back by popular demand, the students at Global Foundations Tutorial had a blast being their own magical mixologists by combining colors, “working” the material, and creating their own beautiful pieces of art, oobleck style!
By kneading the material through their art exploration, the older children’s hands and fingers are warmed-up to meet their writing and spelling head-on while our younger students continued to experiment with different color and ingredient-ratios!
GFT’s academic year (believe it or not!) is rapidly winding down. Our final day of the 2019-2020 school year is Thursday, May 16, and our spring open houses are Tuesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 18.
