The students and staff of GFT hit the ground running upon our return from the break this week! While the overarching theme in social studies this year is Medieval History, the children are specifically looking at what happened during this time period in Asia currently.
As part of their study, they looked at Chinese block printing that was used at the time (and still today!) and created and carved their own initial blocks. The students had a blast using different color combinations and stamping on different materials to make their creations!
