Announcing GFT’s 2020 Summer Series!

We are thrilled to announce an all-new Summer Series experience for our GFT community! Here at GFT, we strive to be the in-between for families where a part-time, drop-off option is optimal, and we realized that the need to does not stop come Memorial Day! Our team, led by our amazing Lead Tutor, Jennifer, has been excitedly and busily readying for an all NEW experience starting in June!

As an organization, we have been really honing in on the books and research touting “play” as the MOST important time in our young children’s days. As such, we will be creating a student-centered, play-and-discovery based environment for them. Students will spend most, if not all, of the day outside living, learning, and enjoying all they can derive from our natural environment.

The June session will focus on earth science where the students will be learning about seeds, planting, harvesting, and the different cycles that abound in nature. July’s session will be based around the concepts of geography, topography, trip planning and prep, and creating an amazing imaginative landscape, designed and constructed by the children.

These two, four-week sessions on GFT’s usual days and hours; Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-3:00. Each session will be $375 with discounts available for siblings. June’s session will run June 2-25. The July session will run July 7-30. We are working on ironing out the perfect location in the Towson/Timonium area and will release that information as soon as it is available. Supply and packing lists will be supplied to registered families.
